Wow! What a year!  Who knew as we started a new decade  that it would be filled witth chaos, quarantines, and new fashion.  I  certainly was affected by it all as I immediately went from in person  speech therapy to distance learning and working 12 hours per day on the  computer to try to see all of my caseload around the parent's schedules.   Was insane.  In addition I felt compelled to assist my medical friends  and neighbors by providing them with masks.  I was a nonstop working  machine.  I donated hundreds of masks to family, neighbors, the  retirement home near me and then started selling them off my FB page.  I  was unable to get them into my store as I sold out as many as I made.   In late May/early June, my sewing machine died so it certainly slowed  my progress as I was only able to use old back up machines until my new  machine arrived.  Now I'm back at it and finally able to get some masks  into my store.

These face masks have been handmade using fabric choices recommended  by the CDC and on this site:  https://smartairfilters.com/en/blog/best-materials-make-diy-face-mask-virus/.

My face masks also have a pocket to add an additional filter of your  choice and some fit over the standard N95 mask.  My masks come with side  channels to allow for ties or elastic.  Please choose which you'd like  with your purchase.  I typically add elastic adjusters as well.  My  masks are washable, just be sure to tie the ties together before  laundering in a machine.

While I make masks available to you all, I must remind you to use  caution when wearing them.  These are NOT medical grade and you are at  risk anytime you are in the presence of other people.  This is a strange  virus with and without symptoms so you never know what other people  have been exposed to.

Please be safe and also practice social  distancing when wearing a mask.  We want you to be safe and healthy  while we wait out this horrible virus.

Take care!
