I hope this finds you healthy and enjoying the beginning of a new year. We are all hoping it will be a better year than 2020. But now we can say that hindsight really is 2020. :-)
Wanted to give you an update on Therapeutic Threads. We are going into our 14th year online and over 24 years of making sensory items for students. I am eternally grateful to the wonderful families I have worked with over the year who have helped me develop and grow my creative spirit. Over the past 6 months I have received many requests for more sensory products so I am working on new ideas and hope to have them out to you in the coming months.
An update on my masks....I only have a few listed in my store as they keep selling out faster than I can list them. If you would like to see them in person, and happen to be in the NY area, they are at the Complete Golfer. John, the owner, has been gracious enough to set them up on the counter there and my sister is helping me manage them. As I've always been a one person operation, I realized that I needed assistance and she offered to manage the mask side of my business for now.
As I am continuing to work in the public school system, my attention this school year (or really since March when Covid 19 hit), has been diverted to learning new ways of reaching my students and attending to both their speech/language needs but also their sensory needs. Doing teletherapy has been quite the learning curve but I'm feeling confident that I can return more focus back to Therapeutic Threads this new year. Thank you for your patience and for your amazing kids and loved ones who continue to inspire me to do this work. This is my passion project and I'm feeling renewed for 2021.
May you all be healthy, kind and inspired in the new year.
Virtual hugs,
Cindy @ Therapeutic Threads
